Delicate glory

The earth and its people are to glorify God. Synonyms of glory are praise, honor, worship and thanksgiving.

When depicting God’s glory, often scholars and ministers project  pictures of the universe with its many galaxies, stars, and planets. Sometime we are even  shown mountains with beautiful green trees or with fall foliage.

The glory of God is also seen in the delicate beauty of flower petals. I’ve seen the glory of God in a large muscular father, bending down to discuss choosing flowers with his delicate 5 year-old daughter. He modulated his strength, voice and words to the level of his dear child.

That’s what God does with us because in relation to Him, we are so delicate.
