Lantana is my husband’s favorite flower. Every year when I ask him what I should plant, he says, “Like lantana.” I know that I must plant them out front and up back, so that he can see them from the deck.
Lantana change color. At one time they look all one color or bi-color but over the season the color of the blooms change. I am sure there is botanical reason for that, but really I don’t care what it is.
I like lantana but even if I didn’t, I’d plant them because Bruce wants them in our garden. Similar to our desire to please God, we should want to please our spouse.
Reflection: Are you willing to go out of your way to please your spouse just because he or she is the love of your life?
