Passion is not a dirty word.  Passion is an intense, driving feeling, or conviction. Probably we should all have some passions.

Christians can safely stop fearing their passions.  Like other emotions, passion was given to us by God.  God was passionate about creating and sustaining mankind. Christ was passionate about being the redeemer of the world.

I am passionate about my faith, husband and family, and of course my gardening.

What are you passionate about? Can you thank God for your passions?

This tiny Passion Flower grows in my back yard. In the mountains of Virginia, it will not survive during the winter; however, I will plant more in the spring and enjoy their gentle blossom all summer.

  1. I have a passion for writing music. I find that plants and trees are often overlooked in daily life. We are so quick to label, sort, and classify things. We neglect their beauty and their uniqueness. I really enjoy your blog!
